What is a self service beer tap?
A self service beer tap is a smart setup that allows guests to pour their own beer and pay immediately. Each tap is connected to a Payter payment terminal or QR payment, enabling fast, secure, and contactless checkout.
The tap automatically records the poured drinks and synchronises this data directly with Manage Yourselv. This gives you real time insight into revenue, consumption, and stock.
How does it work?
The guest pays contactless by card or phone, after which the tap is automatically activated. Once the glass is full, the tap stops and the transaction is stored in the system.
All data is sent directly to Manage Yourselv, where you can easily analyse trends, adjust prices, or compare consumption per location.
Perfect for experience and control
Self pouring is not only fun for guests, it also reduces the pressure on your staff. Where you would normally need multiple employees behind the bar, you can now work with a single host who provides explanation, experience, and supervision.
In addition, the beer tap can easily be combined with age verification. 18+ checks can be carried out automatically via the terminal, an ID scanner, or a visual check. This keeps everything both responsible and efficient.
